The Mayflower Project
Hey guys,
Sorry. Forgot to mention a project I had last month for school. I had to pick a passenger who traveled on the Mayflower in the 1620's. I chose Elizabeth Winslow even though I knew nothing about her and barely anything about the Mayflower. Days before, I started practicing my speech. Oh yeah, I practiced in my British accent. Amanda's Update
Hey, Amanda again! Sorry I haven't written in a while. Almost four years, I think. Anyways, now it's December and I'm nine years old. Yay! Some things I want to say are that most of our Christmas stuff is already up. Most of it we got out before Thanksgiving. I should say my mom got it out. Wow! She's crazy.
Also we've been in three Shutterfly photo shoots, a Christmas one, a wedding one and one when my mom got interviewed. We got to be in a few photos and joke around with Wendy in the dressing room. So fun!
Rilie moved away a couple of years ago, right before I started first grade. Then two crazy boys moved in and then moved away. Don't know why. I also got one of my most favorite teachers, Mr. Fogel. My mom was crushing on him until I told her the story of what happened right before Mother's Day. We were trying to think of something to put on the front of our cards. Some kids thought of Mom, Mother or Love. Then someone said, "Mommy."
"What?!?" Mr Fogel asked, shocked.
"I say if you call your mom "Mommy," you should be in pre-school, Kindergarten and probably not even first grade."
My mom was horrified. She thinks you should be able to call your mom anything you want. Whatever!
Anyway the years have been pretty fun. Like usual. Anyways, talk to you later.

An Introduction
Hi I'm Amanda. I'm six years old and I'm in the first grade. I love to learn. And this is what I like to do for fuuuuun.I like to sneak the ipod away from my mom.AND go out side. And sing too. I love music and TV. I like to draw and write stories and take pictures. I love to read Junie B. Jones books. I like to make crafts and play games with my best friends. Oh and my favorite places are: Chuck E. Cheese, Burger King, the movie theater, the mall, Super Franks and my best friend, Rilie's house. My favorite color is pink. My favorite shape is a heart. My favorite food is a hamburger. My favorite show is SpongeBob. When I grow up I want to be a teacher.
